Automobile Cameras
Typically automobile installed cameras involve those which are mounted on the windshield, or dash- board of a vehicle.
The two most popular are single and dual view windshield cameras. In the case of the dual view, one camera faces forward and the other backward into the passenger compartment.
The rear view camera will also record activity behind the vehicle, but may have that view restricted by headrests and passengers sitting in the vehicle.
These cameras are most commonly powered from the cars cigarette lighter port or USB port. When the vehicle's ignition is activated the camera receives power and records as long as the ignition is on.
Usually the camera recording is set to "loop", when the memory card is full. It will repeat this process perpetually, so the camera is always able to record every activity in front and/or inside the vehicle.
